Matador’s product line ranges everywhere from commuter totes to extreme adventure packs built for people who value minimalist travel and innovative design. When we got the opportunity to shoot the first iteration of their Advanced Series, we knew we would be hunting for harsh weather and foreboding landscapes. We knew just the place.

Hiking up into the Indian Peaks Wilderness right here in our backyard, we found massive alpine lakes and snow capped peaks. Now all we needed was the bad weather. The forecast called for afternoon rain so we spent a few hours lakeside waiting for the weather to roll in. When it came we were poised and ready and everything got soaked except for the contents of these packs.
