Trail running in Colorado is reserved for some of the most elite athletes we’ve ever worked with. To be able to run long distances and uphill at these elevations is something we’re constantly fascinated by and it’s always impossible to turn down an opportunity to photograph runners. We enjoy the fast pace of these projects trying to keep up with our athletes.

In some of these images, we photographed the subjects in a wide landscape to capture the flow state and runner’s high you can get on the trails in Colorado, while in others we used intentional camera movements to blur the runner and indicate a more intense urban workout.
